badge notifications?

hello. I've been an lg g3 owner for over a week and I'm enjoying it coming from an iPhone 5. my question is, what would u reccomend for having all or certain apps with the badge notification. i fled nova launcher and and the tesla plug-in but it did not work for me. but i am enjoying the lg stock launcher. i only get badge notification from the stock e-mail and stock messaging app. nothing for gmail. was using chomp sms but with the lack of the badge notification, i switched back . any help is greatly appreciated! btw i am rooted.

p.s. did anyone remove the at&t bloatware? i wanna do that as well but a lil afraid to do so lol.

If you just want notifications, I use the NiLS application on my Galaxy S3. This allows for notifications on the lock screen.

Not sure if this works the same on the G3, I myself will have to find out in a few weeks, but maybe give it a go, and let us know

I use the floating panel NiLS (an option in there), rather than the lock screen widget .. just seems to work and look better
