Ok, Just making sure. A bit odd. Not seeing a change in battery life. Although i may need to wipe the battery and drain and recharge.

You should not have to do that. #6(2) has great idle batt life. During use it's not any better than the others...IMO.

I just got to eliminate whats causing the battery to drain. Works great sometimes and other times it goes to 20-30% from a full charge in a matter of 4-5 hours.
Should not be doing that.

Go back to the stock kernel and flash the battery tweak. I can go over a day with it. My image is above a few posts.

Best combo I have found since I rooted. I'm scared to go to RLS 3, due to the great batt life I am getting.

I have seen others get over a day with the kernel I'm using without the battery treak. I'm not using setcpu. I can try the battery tweak. Is there anything special that you have to due besides just flashing it?

I've tried 1.9 but still like 1.7. But I think what makes the big difference in any rom ive tried is baked kernel 6. So I'm sure if I patch it over 1.9 I will like it. But I like the eye candy of Manila Carbon rom. It's very close to Myn and 1.9 feature wise but I think it looks better out of the 3. Buts its probably more like myns rom with the exception of the carbon look, stock font and flip transition instead. But ofcourse I patched with baked kernel 6. Cant live without that kernel.

Updated to 1.9 tonight. For the voicemail it is saying there is a mandatory update available. It will say check for upgrade, and downloading, then it will ask if I want to replace the application.I click ok. It gives me the option to now install, click Install, it will start installing, but them say Application not installed. click done. Any Ideas?

No...you'll want to download a terminal and run a top 5 to see if you get a ksoft process running up the CPU though.

Command is

"top -m 5 -n 1" - no quotes

There are a few other threads on this, it is believed to be a problem with a custom icon in the ROM. Hero_over said he was looking into it. Personally I froze the stock app and changed to Google voice. I had been wanting to try it anyway and ended up liking it better so far.
