The Honor 5X has the hardware for Band 12, but it's disabled so the phone doesn't actually support it. It's possible it could arrive later via software update (the Honor 5X isn't T-Mobile certified for VoLTE, WiFi Calling, or HD voice) but don't get your hopes up.

How much Band 12 is in Ohio(like the Cleveland area) does anyone know?
I'm not sure how current this is.

Also, the real issue is where there is only band 12, and I think those areas are small. In other areas the phone will use other available bands for voice & data.
