Root Barnacle Wifi Problem.

I am having a problem with barnacle...
First here are some specs to help you debug.
Punisher v0.1
Barnacle app all defaults NO settings changed just hit start... no WEP encryption.
Windows 7 64-bit basic OEM install no additional software.

Now here is my problem... neither me(LG Ally) or my girlfriends rooted droid(moto droid 1) can actually use barnacle to access to the internet... it seems as if my computer can not obtain an ipv4 address... i can connect to the AD-HOC network but cannot recieve a IPv4 address nor connect to local or public internet.

Thank you for any advice... i have tried with 2 computers and 3 OS
1st)Win7 & Ubuntu

Check the "Skip WPA" box.
