Barnes Noble Nook

Just back from USA and bought a Nook plugged it in to charge and son set it up, however after 24 hours I cannot get it to start, any suggestions?

hold the power botton down for 30 sec..

make sure you charge the tablet... leave it plugged in over night.. see if that helps.

Keep your eye on it. I had one that would NOT charge in any way, shape or form.
B&N exchanged it.

We have several Nook sections, possibly the members there will have more pertinent info. It does sound to me like a hardware issue. I have seen several posts about the Nook Tablet having a simple to resolve battery connection issue (take off back and reconnect wire). Since I don't know which specific model model you have, I'll move this to the to general tablet talk for the time being. Good luck!
