Basic Android Wifi question

Hello. If I am at my house,and my phone is connected to wifi, would it use less battery power than if i have the wifi turned off and my phone stays connected to 4g or even 3g? Thank you.

WiFi will definitely use less battery unless it is struggling to get signal.

any time i can connect to wifi, i always do it. it definitely uses less battery. i'm indoors pretty much all day and luckily my work has wifi. i can stretch my battery life to almost 3 days sometimes when i'm on wifi.

WiFi has actually been said to use roughly 10 times less battery than mobile internet.

So using wifi at all times would be better than mobile data.
