Help basic guide for casio 771 root

I downloaded the casio root tool+ v2.3 but I dont see directions on where to put it. I need a very basic guide, as I've never rooted any devices before.
I have cleaned off all the stuff i want to keep so I don't risk that, but I don't know where to go from here, the video link starts with stuff already running and it doesn't say which file to run.

Can you post the video? It maybe assumes an unlocked bootloader and custom recovery installed

There is a c771 site on this forum. Android phones ( see all ) great group of people who love that phone. Found all the info to root, install custom recovery and switch service providers. C811 also.

can you give me a link? the only thing i found was the video and it starts partway through,

i have only ever messed inside the phone to add music. so i have no idea what im doing

To be honest, I don't know how. Maybe a moderator can point you there. A guy named Whistler has all the info posted there. I just pull up forums, scroll down to phones, click see all then on commando.
