Basic User Compares: Hero vs Moment

I am a Sprint customer looking for an Android phone for basic functions. I am trying to choose between the Hero and the Moment. I have 1 of each right now from Sprint, on the 30 day trial. Here are the challenges I find with each. Does anyone know of any fixes for these?

Hero
1) Phone hangs up during calls because of lack of proximity sensor
2) Speaker phone wont turn off once activated, unless I end the call
3) Vibration mode is very weak and basically useless. Cant feel it in my pocket
4) Sprint Navigation does not work

Moment
1) Battery runs out before end of day
2) Bluetooth is spotty and wont always connect
3) Web navigation not as smooth as Hero.

thanks!

Hero

Download Proximity Sensor from the market
2) Speaker phone wont turn off once activated, unless I end the call
I don't have this problem so no idea... you are on the most recent firmware, correct?
3) Vibration mode is very weak and basically useless. Cant feel it in my pocket
Works fine for me, but is definitely not the strongest I've ever used
4) Sprint Navigation does not work
Try updating your PRL, Profile and firmware. Also check to see if there is an update for the app. This works fine on mine

Moment
1) Battery runs out before end of day
Hero won't be much better
2) Bluetooth is spotty and wont always connect
I've heard this about the Moment as well as randomly going into airplane mode
3) Web navigation not as smooth as Hero.
Different web browsers... Dolphin gets some good reviews, but don't know if that'll help
thanks!

Hero
1) Buy a BT. People still hold their phones up to their ears to talk? Thats so 2004
2) Your phone needs a trip to the repair center
3) Maybe attach a tazer to it that will zap you. Vibration on my ohone is so strong its annoying at times
4) Update the phone or take it in

Moment
1) Buy an extended battery
2) You use a BT for the Moment but not the Hero? Why? Would sure solve your #1 problem with the Hero...
3) Try downloading a different browser like Dolphin

I just traded my moment for a hero and so far I am soooooo happy I did it. I think the sense ui alone is worth the difference in speed. Time will tell for sure, but so far I love it.

FYI if you have not already done the update for the moment it will make a big diff with the battery and as of an email I got a few minutes ago you can do it yourself now instead of going to a service center.

3 out of the 4 problems with your Hero seem to be odd. I agree on the vibration, it's really weak, but you can download a notification reminder from the market to improve it if you want.
