I was surfing through flea bay and came across some 1500mAh Lithium Ion batteries for our Prevails.
Being they are from China, are they real 1500's or just the oem voltage with a new sticker stuck on?

The real 1500mAh batteries for the Prevail have a code labeled EB504465VA. Various other Samsung models also use this battery version. On the label it says Made in Korea/ Finished in China which I find highly absurd. By flea bay I'm guessing you're referring to Ebay? I really don't trust most things that are 3rd party aftermarket items especially when it comes to electronic stuff made in China. Almost all that junk is poorly made and is made with cheap components. As for the official Samsung battery I just looked up the price for the above battery model number and they have them for around $13 with free shipping on Amazon which isn't too bad.

I thought that price wasn't bad either until I looked it up again. I then found the same battery on Amazon for $7.70 + what ever the tax is for me. It just gets better.

I just checked my own Prevail and that's what my battery says and it came straight from Boost.
