Greetings to everyone in the community, specially to those that take the time of their own personal time to make things happen; Devs, Testers, Moderators and of course the Users. Thank you for helping, teaching and understanding our needs.

I just want to share my experience with the new battery that I purchased on eBay for $10.98 (now at $13.41), the Ace Soft 1800mAh. Link below.

This is for those that don't want to have that extra bulk from the extended battery, just like me, since the phone is already big. I just don't want that extra bulk in my pocket or in my hands; (Sometimes I feel like the guy from the Burger King commercial with his small hands, lol). Plus, I already have the Soft Touch Shield Protector ($11.99) so I didn't want to invest more money on another protector.

My experience with the battery so far its great. I use my phone all day long, Wifi always on, 4G on and off, GPS always on, Internet, Messaging, Music, Games and so on, you guys get my point. I'm using PG GingerSteem at 1900MHz Max and 245MHz Min with the Governor on "on-demand" and set "on boot" and runs super stable (no problems at all). So far, the battery have gave me 21hrs and 15minutes of life and that's great for me! At the time I'm writing this, my phone is at 45% with 11h 17m 53secs on battery (pic below), pretty good for my needs. Another thing that is good for myself is that it doesn't take that long to charge. Well, hope this can be helpful. Thanks for everything.

Notice that the battery was at 1% at 1:14pm and it lasted more than an hour after that, the last pic that I took at 1:59pm, my phone shutdown at 2:15pm.

If you get the desktop dock it comes with an extra stock battery and has a battery charging slot built in. Probably the only standalone charger on the market for our battery.

Have the Kraken case so the desktop dock is out.. Dont want to remove the case all the time to charge the phone or use the dock.. I saw a few standalone chargers that were fairly cheap for around 5 bucks that was just a desktop charger.. was just looking again and came across this.. been posted somewhere around here.. 3 x 1700mah and standalone charger.. 8.99 + 2.99 shipping.. bout to hop on that too.. it says usb charger but in the description it says charge battery without phone.. only downfall is its from hong kong so it won't be here for a few weeks..

Ok, last edit.. although this is not for our phone, this charger looks very similar to the one listed in the first link, so I'm guessing it is close to the same..

I would stay away from those cheap Chinese batteries if I were you. They're known to catch fire.

$15 is still great, no bulk in my pocket (where applicable) and it should last all day!

Yeah I remember hearing something about one blowing up while charging I believe.. burnt the guys face because it was in his bed and caught on fire.. prob still gonna grab that for the charger though unless I can find a standalone somewhere else for cheaper..

As soon as I receive it and have it a few days I will review it.. But ya I know what your saying.. It's now up to 17.03.. Starting to have my doubts..

I'm going to be honest, the battery its great so far, yet I bought it for just $10.98 with free shipping and it was shipped from the US, that is why I posted the information here because it was kind of cheap. Now, for $17.03 I believe that I would have passed on it, I'm just been honest. I gamble my $10.98 and so far its paying-off. I wish that it would have worked out for everyone else, but that's not the case.

True.. I'm not complaining.. Been looking for one and don't mind paying 15 for it.. Seen acesoft 3600 for 30 soooo... If the guy doesn't sell em at 17 they may drop back down.. Who knows..

What's up guys. Got mine today charged to hundred percent calibrated battery and after ten minute of use I have loosen about 11 percent dissappointing stock battery is bettery but good thing about it is that atleast if ur phone restart or wahtever you don't loose like 30 or 20 percent magically like the stock battery so I guess this battery could be used as a spare thx a lot for link to the original poster

Nvm guys did another reboot and I magically lost 9 percent

Sorry to hear that. Try this; power off the phone, take the battery out and put it back, power on your phone. Wait until you lose at least 1% then reboot and see if it works. Hope that works for you.

When I read your message I rebooted my phone few times but everything is good, I didn't lost any percent of the battery. I plugged my phone to charge(was at 15%) at 2pm and it was fully charge by 6pm its now 10:40pm and my phone is at 79%.

No problem, I will continue posting and definitely if something goes wrong I will let everyone know about it.

Something that I found funny is the China comments that I have found around, so don't get me wrong, is just that 80 to 90 percent of the stuff we buy are made in China, right? just saying.

I will keep you post.
