Root Battery being eaten up quickly after flashing?

Anyway to fix this? A few weeks back I had issues with a rom and that pimp my droid script causing FC's everywhere, then I flashed #2 and it would just eat through my battery. Now im on gingersteem I believe, and my battery is still being eaten fast, any idea? Its not the signal, its usually up to like 3 bars. This is worse than stock lol

Did you factory reset between ROM flashes? I noticed that when I don't do that somewhere along the line I end up having problems with my phone.

Yup, did that as well. I think im probably just going to end up switching rom. Ever since flashing #2 I've had this problem. Something went wrong

But thats how im here now...My sister flashed it on hers and she is also having issues with battery, she flashed gingersteem and is STILL having that issue. But I suppose I got nothing to lose

Version 2.4 has been the most battery efficient rom on my phone and tried them all anything after 2.4 seems to drain my battery twice as fast.

Wipe everything before flashing.
