OK so I am having a problem with my Note, wondered if anyone had any idea what is going on with it.
This morning when I wanted to switch it on, it wouldnt. I was intermittently getting a full battery symbol as though it was fully charged, flashing between that and an empty battery symbol. Nothing happening when I held down the power button. Tried changing the battery: nothing. Tried taking the battery out for five minutes: nothing. Tried removing the sim: nothing. Plugged it in and switched it on: it came on.
Besides that, now it is on and seems to be working kind of normally but 1) the battery icon is flashing on and off, and also flashing on with the charging symbol on as well at times - though it is now not plugged in. Seems to be quite random. And 2) I am not sure but it seems like the charge is going down faster. Not ridiculously fast but faster than usual. Like 5% gone in the last 10 minutes while not doing very much except a couple of texts. Probably wouldnt notice if it wasnt for the other things.
Tried switching it off and back on again: same thing. Will only switch on if plugged in. But it went from 95% to 83% charge from being switched off and on again.
So as things stand it is usable, main problem is needing to be plugged in to switch off and clearly some battery longevity issues. But it is being a bit erratic and I am worried it is about to deteriorate. Anyone know what is wrong and whether it is likely to get worse?
