Help Battery Charge

So EZ was correct in his findings that the "wall" charger charges twice that of the usb? 1a - loss of 20% = 800mA and 500mA - loss of 20% = 400mA

No. Just stop saying wall, ac, and usb. They are meaningless terms. All that matter is the MA rating of the charger. A 1000ma charger can flow twice as much current as a 500ma charger. Time from empty to full will be faster with the 1000ma charger. Not necessarily twice as fast.

Actually the mA rating of the charger is the charging rate...so if we are talking about the EVO standard 1500mA battery and the above chargers, the 1A will indeed charge twice as fast as the .5A

Call it whatever you want. I know what I am seeing when I charge my phone. If charging with AC adapter, wall adapter, 1000mA during the day the light will turn green saying it was at 100% then I can see within minutes it drop as much as 20%. Even I dont fully charge it and I plug it in at 40% and unplug at 80% within minutes its back at 60. Now if I charge with it plugged into my laptop I do not see the dramatic drop in percentage. Since this thread began I began doing the bump charge as described earlier on and have found that works well for me.

No it won't. There are a lot of things that factor into rate of charge beside how much current the charger is capable of flowing. It does not just flow maximum ma until its full and stop. Not necessarily remains correct.
