battery connection "buzzing sound"

Hi - my battery ran out, and since trying to charge only a dim back light will show up on the screen (so dim you can only see it in the dark, but there is some back light). i heard a very faint buzzing sound when pressing my ear against the back, so i opened it up and the buzzing could be pin pointed to where the wires of the battery connect to the device. they may sound like a short circuit or fuse problem to me, but it is not loose as many videos suggest.


has anyone ever experienced this? does it mean the wires/module are fried? it is strange that i do get a back light though, so power is being transferred to the device.
