battery cover problem

Hi, does anyone have a problem with the flimsy battery cover not feeling fixed or being squeaky? Mine feels fixed down but down the side with the headphone jack there is a gap between the metal border and the edge of the battery cover, wud buyin a new battery cover fix this?

Nope buying a new back cover will not help however sticking some thick tape on the inside of the battery cover will help solve the squeaky feeling. It did for me anyway. I also bought a soft touch replacement cover off eBay which gives much better grip and fits slightly better but I also had to add some tape too. Just search for Xperia Arc battery cover on eBay.

just another case of garbage build quality of sony ericsson phones, i had same problem with the X8 too, it's the cheap plastic they use.
