Help Battery Display Incorrect - Droid X

Hey guys, I have a droid X (1st Gen) which is not giving me the accurate battery reading. it is very weird, it goes from 100% to 50% in a few minutes and then in 30 minutes will dive down to 5 then it will stay at 5 for a good 7 hours before the phone shuts down. I have tried deleting the battery stats and I have sbf'd the phone twice and I am using the phone's factory installed battery. The phone is also running 2.3.3 and it is rooted, Much help would be appreciated.
