My solution: download a wifi on/off widget, and use it to turn wifi off when you put the tablet away...

The strangest thing happened: I was going on a trip for a week so charged my TF to 100% with its Dock connected (so both TF + Dock charged to 100%). Then disconnected TF and powered it off and left it on my desk (I wanted it to be fully charged to use it once I returned).
Once I came back from my trip, and powered it back on, it warned me that I only had 4% battery power left!!! How is that even possible, the TF was Off this entire time??? Did the Dock Keyboard stay on, and acted like a "power vampire", even when the TF was turned off?
(The only thing it was connected to was the Dock Keyboard)

Did you update the newest firmware from the 5th of November?
The battery drain issue is fixed with the 11/5 update. This thread should be closed
I can assure you, it has not been fixed.
After perusing other forums, this seems to now be a "feature" of the Transformer, and not a bug. Very annoying
Personally I like to see screen usage as the number one battery drain, that means I've been using it enough.
It takes a lot of power to light the screen, especially if you have the brightness turned up.
