Hi guys..

Basically ive been running siyah 1.8 kernel on 2.3.5 and its been working fine up until now...

I have changed no settings whatsoever from when i first set this up, battery was working great and lasting a long time until today...

I have had a look at this wakelock on betterbatterystats could this be the culprit for my battery drain...

i was getting a full day out of my phone the past couple of weeks with medium/heavy usage ....

now its draining 3% in 20 mins without using the phone....

here is the picture attatched from betterbatterystats...

any advice would be appreciated :)

p.s can i point out i have no location settings on whatsoever...

If it's only happening now I'd say it's an anomoly caused by a misbehaving app. There must be something asking for location info for the GPSLocatorService to be active despite your settings. My guess is it will clear after a reboot.

Thanks Slug! after numerous reboots it finally cleared and hasnt came back since :)

Watch for it occurring again, and if it does we'll all come round and give it a serious talking-to. :D

Trust me... your phone wouldn't want that.

Some say he is more machine than man...

Others, that he has the patience of Job and the wisdom of Solomon...

We just call him... The Slug! :D

I told my phone that Slug would be appearing if it happened again.... No sign of it since :D

I think my phone has learnt it's place.....
