ok people i have been playing with my evo and notice that the android system is draining my battery like crazy. Is it possible for me to stop that program from killing my battery?

How do you know it's android system, specifically, that is draining the battery? Did you use spare parts to check partial wake usage? Is your phone rooted or stock? What is the software version?
