Root Battery Drain?

I am having extreme battery drain and was wondering what could be the problem? I turned off WIFI, Data, GPS, and bluetooth and charged it to 100% yesterday night. The signal is excellent. No texting or talking since the battery was fully charged. This morning, it is at 51%. So, it's losing about 6%/hour even without even using the phone.

Battery stats isn't pointing me to the right direction. I have CPU Spy and it's Deep Sleeping for most of the time. Any ideas how to troubleshoot?

How long does the battery last for you? I know it depends on the usage but it's really frustrating when I don't even use the phone and still lose lots of juice even after all the battery guzzlers have been turned off! Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

I'll have to look into that myself.
If it was not for Juice Defender I would have thrown this phone away.
Still has some other issues that make me dislike it some. Hoping for a recovery to flash a better ROM to fix the issues.
 
The only issue I had was with 3G. I work in a remote area and found that if I left 3G on all day, my battery would be around 20% at the end of the day. Turning it off when not needed was an easy fix, especially since I am not allowed to use my phone at work.

Now with minumal usage, I get two days out of a charge:

I am still having extreme battery drain issues with the VM optimus elite. Not sure what to do? I uninstalled lots of system apps, like Search, Maps, etc. and still it drains 2%/hr even with Wifi and 3G turned off. GPS, bluetooth is off too. I get 4 bars and the signal is pretty good.

CPU Spy states that the phone is deep sleeping for 90% of the time and it's really frustrating. Any ideas, folks?

2%/hr sounds OK to me. What rate do you expect?

2%/hr is okay without even using the phone? Just on standby with no wifi/3g/gps/bluetooth off?

FYI - I have Moto Triumph with CM 7 and it consumes 6 - 8%/day if I don't use the phone at all. Granted, Elite is not running CM7 but still 2%/hr seems excessive.
