I leave in the morning everyday around 6am for work at 100% battery and then by 11am my phones down to about 55% and it says that my screen is using about 25% and android os 13% and everything else lower any ideas to what's killing my battery ots also at 50% brightness always
I have used is monitor to check for processes running constantly and spotted threads from the twitter and other apps constantly using about 0.1% of CPU. I have uninstalled twitter and an app called bus countdown and the improvement have been striking. The android forum app also drained the battery a lot.
Now the main culprit is boredom, making me spend too much time using the phone ;-)
I use a combo of os monitor, wakelock detector and network connections apps to try and get a handle on high battery drain. It's a tough go sometimes especially if it's a system app causing the problem. A couple of those apps will show system processes but it seems like it's still difficult to nail down at times.
