Battery draining?

Lurker
In the last 2 days both batteries, the original and the Anker have been draining within a few hours. With both I fully charged before going to bed and by morning they were in the red.

Any thoughts?

Wakelocks, something is most likely holding your phone from deep sleep mode

Bluetooth and wifi are usually the culprits

Some apps that use internet can do it as well, like an email app or something

You can try uninstalling any new apps or anything you downloaded one at a time until the drainage stops to try and find what's causeing it

I check BT and wifi and they were off. I haven't added any new apps but I did update several apps not long before this started. Is that common?

I use Super Tool Box 10 and it has the task manager, I've killed several apps/services but it's still draining faster than normal.

I'll try and work my way back...

Thanks!

Task killers will work on certain things, but things your system deem as important will basically override your taskkiller and restart themselves which causes the task killer to work harder cause its trying to kill an app it really can't

Google play is one app, to the system its important so if it was looking for updates or if it was actually updating something then when it got killed it would just restart itself and start all over
