Battery failure

My battery just failed. It's all swollen and dies within minutes of fully charging.

What's the rate of failure on these things? I see 4 threads the front pages both this forum and all things root.
 
I got three batteries for mine on ebay. 3x 1800 mah and battery charger. my stock is still good then again I've only had my TU since December. But I do know that the battery tends to get fat on older phones when you're using a charger other than the one it came with.

From what I saw on Amazon usually the battery comes with one. And they have covers by themselves 4-sale too so yes.

As in a extra case like they have if you have a regular battery? I have one that clips on the front and back of the phone. But I haven't seen one that fits the big battery.

yeah i guess there isnt, would be nice if there was though. im liking this higher capacity battery, and actually just liking a battery that doesnt shut down the phone every ten minutes - i actually kinda like the extra bulk too, somethin a little more substantial to hold onto when im talking etc
