So I was bored this evening and I was fooling around with my old Eris and after looking at the battery to my surprise it fit in my Incredible 2. The only thing is that I had to flip the battery over. Do you think this would be safe to use?
well last time i tried that my phone completely reset itself, but that was on the ally. plus, the Dinc2 has a stock output of 1000mhz, and the eris is like 600mhz. meaning itll be slow even if it does work
In post number 30 on the third page of this thread I talk about the Eris battery for thie DInc2. I have been using my 1750mAh battery from my Eris off and on for a while now with no problems. Make sure you look at the post I am talking about. You can't put it in backwards, but you have to remove the corners. It works fine. 1900 mAh batteries - Page 3 - xda-developers
