Help Battery full unplug charger

Newbie
Hi,
I've just got my Galaxy Note 2, I put it on charge last night before going to bed, and was woken a few times by some kind of alert, I thought it was just email, and ignored it, but it happened quite a few times last night. When I woke up this morning I noticed there was a notification which said something like battery full, unplug charger.

How can I turn this off, I use my phoe as my alarm clock, so keep it next to my bed, and night time seems the perfect time to charge a phone, why would I care that the battery is full? surely you can't ovecharge it by keeping it on charg overnight?

Please help
Many Thanks
J

I do not own a Note 2 but i would suggest to go into the Settings, maybe under notifications and check to see if there is something there...

Otherwise charging your device overnight does not harm the battery, even with an overcharge :)

Here are two suggestions.
1 Turn the System volume down (off if you wish).
2 Turn "On" the Blocking mode and set your times and what to disable.

This may help, good luck.

Lateck,

For the life of me I can't find any alert for the phone getting to a full charge. It sends a notification message but I don't hear a tone. Maybe I'm just not noticing it so I plugged in my phone to see if it makes a sound at 100%.

I never heard any alert since I got it on the 25th but then this morning I heard the alert I was confused because I have blocking mode on when I sleep

I'll try that tonight, or maybe tomorrow night, still on 77% at the mo after a day of light usage :) (much better than my HTC Sensation)

What else uses the system notification volume?

Thanks
J
