Help Battery Icon

When i got my Epic 4g, You know how the battery icon is horizontal? Because when i first opened my Epic 4g, My battery was horizontal and was colored blue. (probobaly like you guys) But once i finshed charging, it turned vertical and green, like the charging icon except with the thunder across it. Can anybody help? It's frustrating for me because i can't see the battery life above 70 or 80%

Is it just me ? Cuz i looked at epic 4g reviews on youtube and they have a horizontal blue battery bar.

How old are those reviews? I think that was the battery icon from Android 2.1, which was on the Epic when it was first released.

See if you can get the battery to 100% with the phone powered off. If not, and depending on the age of your handset, your battery might be in need of replacement.
