Help battery increases when idle

Hi all, on Tmo uk and over night last week my battery stsrted acting very bizarre. Looking at the battery stats the battery drops like a cliff however today I charged it to 52 unplugged it, within one hour it was down to 36, I rebooted the phone and the battery stated 12 I think just locked it and left it for am hour and the battery has gone UP to 19

Really at loose end here. Any ideas?

Its the solar panel kicking in mate!

No, its one of the bug bears of having a battery chip that never needs to be calibrated. On reboots, it can sometimes take a significant drop, and report incorrect levels, after which it gradually creeps back up. Once its at the true level, it will start going down again as normal.
When such a drop occurs, I usually stick it back on charge to 100%.
