Help Battery Info Discrepancies

Hello forum!

I have a technical question -when looking at battery info should the cpu time not relate quite directly to time of use? For example, I listened to music for over an hour yet the info said cpu time was 15m or so. Am I missing something here?

I suspect you are, although I don't know the answer to your question for sure! I've always assumed that the CPU time quoted is an equivalent to the time if it were running flat-out. Playing music, for example, can't take a lot of computing power, so I imagine the CPU is doing little more than ticking over in the background. So, by my reckoning, playing an hour's worth of video would use more CPU power than an hour of music. On the other hand, I could be talking a load of rubbish!

It is an odd one. Screen on time is always spot on as are some other apps but others are a little confused.
