ok here it goes, if you feel this thread is pointless dont flame just delete, dont forget im still noob.

But i was wondering if anyone could really explain the following and how it works

cell standby:
android system:
phone idle:
voice calls:
Display:
Dialer:

just curious what the percents should be with normal use and stuff

You should specify that this is a feature that has been made available since the 1.6 so users still on 1.5 will not be aware wtf you are talking about...

Essentially you are trying to collect other users data from their phones to see if yours is on par? Right?

Did this when i got home last night. Typical day at work, checking my e-mails throughout the day, twitter, showing it off to everyone every now and then.

"15h 11m 43s since unplugged"

Cell Standby: 50%
Android System 19%
Phone Idle 14%
WiFi 8%
Display 5%
Voice Calls 4%

"Normal use" is completely dependent on the user. Some people text all day long, others surf the net/check emails all day. Others use it more as a music player.
