Help battery is on crack

Battery readings are weird..One minute it's 50%, one minute later it's 26%
few minutes later it goes UP to 30%..
then down again..

Since the issue first occurred I've had multiple fw(Official or Not) re-flashes and full formats and dalvik and battery is always deleted with each ROM (through CMW)

Any ideas? or any similar issues?

Things like this can happen between changing roms, cwm backups/restores etc. but its not often it goes like this during continual use. I would try a proper battery calibration:
Turn your phone off
Charge it up
As soon as the screen comes on to signify 100% pull out the charger
Pull out the battery. Leave it out for at least 90 seconds
Re insert the battery and turn back on

See how it goes after this.
If the problem continues you may well have a faulty battery

thanks hawker i'll try this method..
I've tried numerous calibration apps but to no avail.
i'll be back with the result

Al right did as you told me to and currently draining down the battery.

Weird thing though, every phone I've ever had..whenever I took out the battery and put it in the date and time reset..even if I just take it out for a few seconds.
This one on the other hand, I took out the battery for a whole 5 minutes and back it goes like nothing happened..date and time still there and accurate.

Isn't that weird?

I don't know but i doubt it.
Why don't other recent phones do the same.

Anyway, Is there an app that would drain the battery quickly?
I tried 'Stability test', a stress test but all it does it is work the cpu 100%
the gpu part fails

I need something that would stress both gpu and cpu and combine that with max brightness bluetooth gps and wifi...any more ideas?

I think there is a tiny battery in the phone that keeps the clock functioning cause I don't ask it to sync time with the service provider. My old ASUS smartphone would keep the time if took out the battery, but that was for the first year or so. After that, time will reset if battery is removed. I am guessing that it was because the internal battery was dead.

Just guessing though.

Another 'Holy' jump
jumped from 0% to 30%
but this time another issue arises..
battery draining on idle and no wifi/bluetooth/gps to 0% in ~12 hours.

You battery is self charging

Can't really help you unless you can find out which apps is running when the phone is suppose to be sleeping. That is usually the problem. And you can see that the phone is awake most of the time although screen is off.

And there might be something wrong with your battery calibration. Not sure how to help with that other than I read in posts that you should remove the battery for awhile then put it back in.

Try another battery. It sounds like your battery had decided to let go of life. ( provided you've tried the other suggestions)

That Android graph is for on-battery use. Your phone didn't jump to 30% in one minute, the time logger was resetting after it hit 0%.

And your upward trends correspond to charging cycles.

Pretty much on this graph, I've learned to read it in segments - only between the areas where it wasn't charging, as if looking at multiple graphs.

For max accuracy on this graph, reboot your phone once off the charger.

The graph is meant as a helper and its accuracy is certainly variable (per earlier helpful post on battery calibration as well as my warning that it loses some accuracy once on charger.

Hope this helps! :)

PS to the OP - your issue seems to be battery calibration related, unless you have a bad battery - just an opinion.

Thanks Earlymon,I didn't see your post till now.
The last graph I posted was only about the huge rise all of a sudden from 0% to about 30%
Just like that.. I leave it to die on its own 2%->1%->0%, I connect the charger and boot it up.
Once it does it shows 30% and charging :(

About the calibration, no I have already calibrated the battery multiple times using different methods (i know all remove the same file but still)

Anyway I just came back to tell you guys that it went back to working correctly.. i don't know how or why but i am back to happy
If only I could convince it to stop working in the background and wakelocking..
