Battery issue & charging time

My 10days old S2 battery barely last for 8hours. Whenever i game for 30mins, the battery drops as much as 50%. I've checked my battery usage, it shows "andriod OS for 45%".

Another problem I have here is that my S2 took nearly 10hour to fully charged my battery. It certainly took too long to charge a dead battery.

Pls guide me as I am new to smartphone.

the android OS usage is normal but the gaming for 30min dropping ur battery by 50% is not. u need to get a new battery. sounds like u've got a faulty one. with my battery (or any other normal one), 30min of gaming shouldnt drop ur battery by more than 5%

Yup! certainly I would.
Btw, i have noticed that the port where I plug in my battery cable is slight loose (I can shake the cable left to right easily, there is some space). Is this the reason why my battery charge so slow? Is it consider as a faulty one?

I am not sure what is wrong with my battery charging time.

yesterday, i was calibrating my battery so i had to actually do a complete charge, from almost 0 to 100%, and it took around 2 hours. and i dont think the connection should be a problem, as long as it shows that its charging.. definitely a faulty battery, i think

mine takes on average just under 3 hours. the slower the charge, the longer the life. i say this because i bought another charger which happens to charge it quicker...but the battery drained quicker too.
you dont have to drain it completely and once its charged, take it off the charger. try not to leave it on there.

I removed the cable once it is fully charged, but still the problem exists.

if your not happy with it or unsure, take it into a samsung store, they should be able to test it and let you know. thats what happened to me. i had a life of about 10-15 hours, wasnt happy, they tested....battery had a higher than normal voltage drain...gave me a new one...away i went.
