Lurker
I had my phone 100% charged the other day then by lunch time it was down to about 40% which was odd so i restarted the phone and it instantly dropped to 4% or aroundabout that!

the exact same thing happend again today but it dropped to about 30% to begin with then around 15% after a restart!

any ideas on a solution? the phone is about 3 months old.

2 commond issue on this phone are battery and over heating but it can be solved. just play around with the setting and you will fall in love with it..

I have had the Samsung Galaxy S2 for a couple of weeks now, and my only issue is the battery.
I am having charging issues when connecting to my laptop via the USB cable. When I initially connect the phone, instead of charging it, it actually heats up the phone and decreases the charge! I then unplug it and connect it to another USB port, and it charges up without heating fine. The port is not the problem, as I've had this problem with both ports. Should I change the battery, the cable, or is there some setting on the phone I'm missing?

i've got the same problem only after updating to 2.3.4... Battery life just sucks now.

Try re-calibrating your batteries using the following, tried and tested, method:-

Maybe a problem with the USB cable? Are you using the cable that came with the box? And have you tried with other computers and cables?
