Help Battery issue

I have had many MANY issues with this phone and it upsets me...but recently my battery wont hold a charge for longer than 4 hours max. Today was my last straw and i dont know what to do....I got home at 5 and its now 9 and my phone went from 98% to dead. I checked it at 10% when it warned me and looked for any running apps and there were only 5 running apps...the only that go's out and grabs any data is CNN. I dont understand why my phone dies in 4 hours or less with absolutely no use.

That definitely doesn't sound normal... Mine lasts from 8 am to 8 pm, and even then, it's still on yellow (goes red around 10 pm).

Do you have the screen brightness on full? I use the auto-brightness setting (although if you really want to conserve battery, leaving it at the lowest setting is smarter). What about widgets? If you have a lot of widgets, that can also drain your battery.
