Hi,
m using HTC sensation 4g and its battery life really sucks.
So i want to know if i keep my battery charged with usb while surfing the net and playing games on my device. Is it safe practice. Will it affect battery life?
Please help me on yhis.Thanks.

You should be fine. Just note that depending on your charger and what games you are playing, you may range from barely charging to continued discharge if the power the phone is consuming is greater than the refresh from the charger.

mainly i use net for nearly 10 hrs on my phone,so you recommend for how much time should i put my phone in charging mode?and also i use local usb charger, is it safe or not?

If you are near a charger, it should do no harm to leave it plugged in no matter how long. USB connected to a computer is only 500mA and is often only enough to charge the phone sitting idle (this varies phone to phone) while many wall chargers have a higher output and can better charge the phone while in use. Either way, its better to keep some power going in if it is available.

will it affect my battery life,if i keep it charged all day,i have read it somewhere that it reduces battery life to almost half. Is it true?

I haven't had that experience. I charge my phone overnight everynight. I charge it on my way to and from work in my car. If I am playing a game for an hour or so I am usually at home on my couch so I will plug it in as many games (e.g. Angry Birds) will kill the battery very quickly.

I have noticed no negative impact on batter life and I have done this with all of my devices. My OG Droid is used as my alarm clock now and stays in the cradle 24 hours a day charging. If I take it off charge to play with it (flashing something or checking settings for other users here on AF) I still get 6-7 hours of charge. That battery is 2+ years old so I expect it to not hold a charge as long. I'm sure someone here can gove you a technical explanation that is more detailed, but based on my experience, I wouldn't worry about it. Enjoy your phone.

For comparison, w/no SIM installed, and using wifi, I streamed an internet radio feed for 10hrs. yesterday, and still had 29% charge left. Try getting another battery. Over time, batteries lose capacity as their crystalline structure breaks down.

FWIW, if it's not too bad off, I've had some moderate success freezing my poorly performing batteries, letting them fully thaw/dry, and having at least partially restoring them to original performance. YMMV.
