Battery Issues reolved

I mentioned in a previous post abut defective wallcharger now that i have been using computer usb port phone set at charge only battery has greatly improved

Memory Leak found Beautifull Widgets was my cause for memory being leaked and not recouped and probable added to battery drain also.

Now if i could just find a standalone usb battery charger the ones on ebay i don't trustthem .

Moto says they will have one avaiable in august maybe.
 
Didn't you get a battery charger with your phone?

I've stopped using my computer to charge mine, since it charges about 20% slower then the included charger.

I've been using Beautiful Widgets for almost a year now. I think you are mistaken with your claim of a memory leak. As far as it being a battery drain, so long as I don't turn GPS location on in an area where it can't recieve a signal I have no problems.

Yes, when an application is trying to access the gps for a location the system will continuously poll it until the information is received. If you are in an area where gps signal is weak or unavailable you will see the gps icon remain on in the status bar for long periods of time. This can be a large drain on the battery.
