Help battery issues

I fully charge my TB through the night...wake up and use it minimally. By Noon it's 15% from being dead. My advanced task killer wipes out every half hour. What I notice is that when I got into the "running services" there are apps running even when I don't open them. Any ideas??

Don't use a task killer. An automated task killer will use more battery killing apps then the apps themselves. Just because apps are sitting in memory doesn't necessarily mean they are using processing power/battery. From what I understand Android OS has come a long way in memory management from earlier versions, making automated task killing unnecessary.

You might also try cutting back on your app sync schedule. When I first got my phone, this helped a great deal. My phone was then lasting me until 8 or 9 pm, with moderate to heavy use.

If you don't mind the added weight, I would also consider the 2750 extended battery. I can now make it into day two on one charge. Personally, the added hump of the battery makes the phone much easier to hold. I'm glad I did it in more than one way.

I also agree with the above statement about app killers. You lose more battery with the constant killing and restarting of apps. Let the OS manage it.

+1 for checking your update schedule... stock update is set to 15 min... I have mine at 2 hours and it makes a huge difference... go to accounts and sync in the settings menu and turn of what you dont use( stocks, news feed, one or both facebook syncs)

You may also want to end pvmtpservicestart and pvmmdrmsetvice. I read those are used by the blockbuster app. I force stop then whenever I start my phone up. They were using 81% of my battery before and it lasts a lot longer now
