Help battery issues?

its happened to me a few times in the last few weeks and i cant figure out why. ill charge my phone over night and when i unplug it in the morning its at like 76% or so. so to fix it (because im sure its fully charged) i have to shut down the phone, plug it in (wait till the charging screen comes up - it always says its fully charged on phone off charging screen) then turn it back on with the charger still in. when i boot back up my phone says 100%.... ANY IDEAS WHY? its like its not calibrating right when its fully charged

Take the battery out. Take a cloth and genitally wipe the connector thingy on the battery. Should be 4. And replace charger. You could mess your phone up if the charger is shorted.
