Battery Killing Apps to Avoid?

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on which applications I should avoid/uninstall to try to conserve some battery. For example, does it use up a ton of battery to have location aware apps running or is it pretty nominal?

Yes , location aware apps are going to drain a battery quicker , since they use gps and wireless network triangulation.

You can adjust update times in most of the location aware apps if you go into settings by pressing menu when your inside them.

I usually just run without GPS on anyways , but its your call my friend.
