Yesterday my battery drained suddenly and when I charged it it read only 4% after charging overnight. I did another reboot and it did appear to charge, but now, the % battery left when I toggle the lock screen on no longer appears. It will show when the charger is plugged in. I rebooted multiple times, and did a battery pull also but still doesn't show the batter % left on the lock screen. Stock and unrooted. On JB 4.1.1 Verizon. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

If I recall correctly, the stock rom only displays the battery percentage on the lock screen if it is plugged in and charging. The phone not updating the percentage does seem weird. Do you use more than one battery where each are drastically different capacities so the battery calibration off?

Try a different charger. Could be that your port is going bad. Mine did and it's a very quick fix for them to swap it out. Should only run you $35.
