Help Battery Level

Hi there people,

I was just wandering if there is a shortcut to find the exact battery level on my Desire? I know you can go the 4636 route but thats slightly long winded, and most battery widgets/notification bar icons actually seem to use battery (i have properly tested this!). I know you can go into 'about phone' and do it that way but that just shows it as a series of bars, not as an actual figure.

Thanks,

Ben

The 4636 thing runs an internal application called "Testing". You can make a shortcut to this using the "Any Cut" application from the market (run it, select "create new shortcut", look under "activities" and "Testing" will be in the - very long - list of possibilities).

Or if you use the battery info feature a lot just key in the 4636 code and then hold down the Home key to bring up a list of the last 8 recent apps. If you tap on Testing in the recent list, it opens instantly. As long as you keep it in the top 8 recently used, it's always there.
