Cool, thanks for sharing.
My pleasure - and another trick, I don't auto update Blinkfeed. I like Blinkfeed, but on my time, my way.

During that particular snapshot, the usual - business email and calendar use, texting, forum posting, forum management from my mobile browser, a bit of Netflix (to Chromecast, so my phone is just the browser and remote control) and a few phone calls.
If you choose to manage notifications and location so everything isn't running wastefully all of the time, apps tend to behave rather well.
By manage location you mean within the individual apps or is there a way to manage which apps use it in Android like there is on iOS?
I tend to keep location services off, and then tell browsers not to try it - otherwise, they'll tend to babble in the background looking for a service that's never going to happen.
I do need location for weather. For that I tell my app to use location and specifically GPS when available (Transparent Clock Weather by Droid27) and then set a polling rate I'm OK with, that's every 3 hours or if I specifically tap to get an update.
Sometimes, you just have to use location on - Maps, that sort of thing. OK, I turn it on when prompted and turn it off when done.
I'm not all paranoid about my location, it's just been my experience that that is just a wasteful processed.
Sadly, I give up Google Now by turning it off, but I've never really missed it.

Oh you power hungry folks. I am not as powerful as EarlyMon, but I do have one exchange account set for push. GPS and WiFi on all the time. I use Apex launcher, no BlinkFeed; albeit running the same ROM as pup. I have been getting a fairly constant two days between charges the whole time I have had this phone.
This is a fairly good representation of my power.
How...? I'm at 40% after 14-16 hours. Not complaining but I feel like I'm doing something wrong. GSam says most of my usage is from the mediaserver service. From listening to audio podcasts I'm assuming.
I can tell you all this much if you work in a building without great reception indoors your battery will take a hit.
You can avoid that by going on wifi (if it's available, of course). Alternatively, if you value battery life over receiving e-mail/Facebook/other updates or using any sort of network-involved activity, you can put it in airplane mode.

Here are my stats. Notice the held awake time. I think the reason the battery dies to fast is because the phone is kept up even when the screen us off. I'm happy with my battery for now but I still have other stuff to check to even reduce my held awake time.

My Verizon M8 had amazing battery life, I could go through almost two full days of minimal to normal use. After installing 4.4.3, my battery is at 34% by 4PM after starting at 100% in the morning.
SOMETHING is causing this...not my imagination. I want 4.4.2 for verizon on my NON ROOTED phone!
How can I get 4.4.2 back??? This is insane...I turned location services off, brightness...etc..
but the fact remains...I use my phone NO differently than before 4.4.3 and now my battery suffers.
Who has the fix? THANKS!!!
