Root Battery life for Droid X on rooted GB596

Gingerbread is supposed to be better on battery life but it doesn't seem like much. I would like to know what apps I can freeze or uninstall to REALLY extend my battery life?

I noticed this too, maybe its just me but it seems that it is better while its on stand by/sleep mode. However while its being used theres just no comparison that froyo has gingerbread beat. Oh well, love my gingerbread!
