Help Battery life getting on my nerves.

KA24DERACER - What version of JD are you using (beta, free, pro), whats your setup in there and how long is your battery normally lasting with these tips you just suggested?

I use Pro with the Advanced settings as follows:

Controls: Data, Wifi (Auto Disable), AutoSync (Ping mode) <-- all standard

Schedules: 15min <-- slightly more often than standard

Triggers: Battery (5%), Screen, Traffic (10Kb/15sec), 15sec/min <-- everything slightly lower than standard, since I keep my 4G antenna off unless I need it and Metros 3G is sometimes unable to keep enough data going to keep Data enabled

Apps: Enable/Screen Off: Google Play < -- JUST in case I am downloading an app or update this keeps Data on FOR SURE when Google Play is up on the screen even if it turns off (this is why I got Pro)


On just idle I get around 2.0X - 2.5X battery life with both my phones. If I use it any more than occasionally, then on my Optimus M I get around 1.5X - 1.75X, and on the connect I get around 1.5X (which makes sense as I have an overclock running and the connect is a MUCH more powerful phone than my old Optimus)

As for you, you can do everything I do except the App Control with the Free version, but I was willing to pay the $1.99 for the extra controls (there are more I just havent messed with them yet as these work pretty damn well for me)

EDIT: As for TIME in battery life, Ive seen as high as about 10-11 hours on pretty much standby the whole time. Im running another test right now ill report back in a while with the results but as of right now (4 hours on almost all standby with 75% battery remaining) its looking like about 12 hours total.

lol my stock battery doesn't go that far either, i'm using go power and have wifi, sync, and 4g off most of the day. I only turn 4g on when using facebook. Also my brightness is set to 20% and when i go see my battery usage swype and idle are the ones with higher percentage of consumption, brightness does get high sometimes also even at 20%

PS my phone takes about 2 to 3 hours to fully charge

I turn mine all the way off and let it charge and it does take about 3 to 4 hours to charge and with normal use i get 6to8 hours???

I got around 19 hours of little/moderate use today. A lot better than my original use which wouldn't go past 4 hours regardless of my usage

im nearly 13hours in at 66% battery life on my 3850. mostly very short phone calls and maybe an hour of web surfing. JD ultimate installed and running

I didn't really do much. I was texting for half the time. The other half was probably idle or something. I had Wi-Fi enabled for half the time. A quarter was with 4G and the remaining time was with data disabled. I'm on the stock battery
