Help Battery Life, Help!!

Just got it yesterday at lunch. I really like it. I replaced my incredible 1 with it. My battery is draining badly. I haven't hardly loaded any apps yet, left it plugged in over night. Haven't used it hardly at all today. I took one 3 minute phone call today, answered one text message, and its been sitting on my desk at work untouched for most of the morning. Its down to 45% battery life at lunch. At rate I won't even make it until I drive home at 5pm. And I hardly used it at all. I have way heavy days ahead as I travel for work. Do you think I got a defective unit or battery. Has anybody else had the same issue? Should I take it back to the store? This can't be normal and far off from the spec numbers.

It's possible you have a bad phone or battery, but I'd check and see what's using your battery. Maybe a poorly coded app. Also see what your signal level is. If it's in a low signal area it's radios wil be running hard to get a good signal. Hope that helps.

Wait it out. The batteries need a few complete cycles of drain to almost dead and recharge. My Inc2 gradually kept getting better the first month I had it.
