Help Battery Life Improvement Help?

Well my Ally's battery life sucks. I take it off charger at 6am. I go to school. Dont use it for a good 6 hrs. Return home... Its dead.

So what are some ideas for improving battery life?

Do you not have service at school? No service will kill it fast, like any cell phone.

If you do have service, this shouldn't be happening. There are tons of threads already for managing power... I'd recommend restarting it before you leave one day and see if it works better "fresh". If not, you've got something running like mad (or a fairly worthless battery).

Okay. Well I know outside of school I usually get 4 bars. But I suppose with the concrete walls it drops. Im going to try airplane mode in school.

Is there an app where I can schedule it to turn off radio at a certain time.

Locale is one. It is a paid app. I am think there are a few free ones out there but can't think of any right now.
