Battery life issue please help!!!

Hii all im new to this forum and im new to android phones, well i got a htc sensation and wow the battery life is soooo rubbish, i have sorted the settings and that, my blutooth off and all the rest and made no differance but my question is the battery i have is the origional htc battery and thats 1520mAh and its a brand new phone so not like the battery is half gone but im looking at buying another battery and i can get 1 thats 2500 mAh would this damage the phone in any way and how much longer would it last??

Hello and welcome aboard. The answer for your question is No. You can use a longer lasting battery other than the one the device comes with.

How much longer would it last?

It depends on how much time you use the phone, and how good the battery can hold a charge.

Welcome to the world of smartphones. It can do a million cool things for you automatically, but if you want it to last a full day then you have to turn them all off. I use two batteries, I try to keep them both charged fully and have one in my wallet just in case (reminds me of some advice my dad gave me a long time ago ;-))

Of you want the battery to last long try turning off all notifications (e.g. mail, messages, missed calls, etc)..this does help a bit thou
