Battery Life on Incredible S?

Hi, I have the Incredible S from Virgin mobile Canada, and was wondering if this scenario is normal for a new Incredible S.

I have brightness at about 1/2, and used it about 1/2 the time from 7am to 7pm, 1 720p video, 5mins, just wifi, browsing, installing uninstalling stuff, advanced task killer, reading using aldiko on night settings for about 2 hours, then the phone alerted me that there was 5% left, is that normal?

Get rid of Advanced Task Killer. The IncS has plenty of memory and you don't have to worry about that.

So you mentioned a 12 hour period of which 1/2 or 6 hours you had the phone and screen on + 2 hours of reading for a total of 8 hours. Yes that will eat your battery up.

Now that you have it set up application wise, give it a few days.

Yes...Advanced Task Killer is not needed and uses up unnecessary resources. The phone is more then capable of looking after itself. You are just creating more work for the phone by killing applications that may be needed.
