Battery life question

Im using an app called battery status pro and it is always running showing my percent life left by way of an icon on the toolbar. Does this drain the battery quicker with it constantly running

Of course it does. The thing that matters is how much is it draining your battery. For an app like that one probably not a significant or noticeable amount. I wouldn't worry too much unless you noticed decreased battery performance after installing it.
