Okay, so I did the screen capture of the battery usage at approximately the same time as Stang70 above for comparison. I will post that in a moment. But I used the phone all day with a lot of texting, Facebooking, general usage and calls - way more screen time than I usually do. At the end of the day I still had 38% battery. My screen time was the largest use of battery consumption, which is what is usually the case.
For the people having bad battery drain, are you using the little included App Manager widget? It's that little green circle with the number on it that tells you how many apps are still running in the background. I have found it invaluable at helping me increase battery life by letting me know of any app that remains running and using CPU in the background. You would be amazed at just how many apps are left running and using CPU (and thus draining battery) even though you are no longer using the app or even using the phone at all.
I actually wrote thread all about this neat little widget a while back and it can be seen here:
App Manager Widget saves battery!
I would ask those having bad battery life to read this thread and try this little app. Looking at Stang70's battery usage tells me something is running in the background and draining your battery. This app might help you.
Other things I do to increase battery life are things like:
Reboot daily, in the morning while still on the charger
Run screen below 50% (note: the auto brightness setting is NOT the best for battery life!)
Turn off Wi-Fi when not using one as if you leave it on and there are Wi-Fi's around that you don't connect to the phone will constantly be in contact with it.
Next up is my battery stats.
