Help battery life sucks...

Im posting this to see if anyones battery life sucks as bad as mine...i take my warp of the charger after a full charge and with in about 3 hours its down to 70-75 percent...this is without playing any games or music...it happens in total standby...is this normal? if not is there anything i can do about it?...and i dont have apps running in the back ground...i have root...and should it be taking forever to send picture messages...mine does for sms and to facebook...

That's better than my battery life...lol A- Just in case you didnt know, add power control widget to one of your homescreens, longpress screen, press widget, power control, add's easy access to turn things on/off that really effect battery life, gps, wifi, sync, brightness, data, Also, Cell standby happens to be #1 killer of my battery b/c I live in an area with terrible cellular service, If you happen to have bad service inside your home, The battery WILL drain very quickly. I usually forward my calls to house phone, and turn on airplane mode when i'm home.
 
Try putting it in airplane mode with a full charge unplugged overnight to test if it's the phone or the battery, it shouldn't drain all the way down and shut down overnight in airplane mode, if it does your battery is shot, if it's still got juice it's an app or poor reception, although 3 hours seems extreme with nothing running
